SHORE Solutions’ Human Resources (HR) Director, Rubilie Macaraeg, was a panelist during a session on “The New Hardware: Systems up in the Cloud” during the International IT-BPM Summit (IIS) from October 13 to14 at the Makati Shangri-La. The conference was the Information Technology and Business Process Association of the Philippines’ (IBPAP’s) 10th anniversary event. The annual Summit is one of the local industry’s most anticipated events as it draws the top business process outsourcing (BPO) stakeholders such as global business executives, key resource persons, government officials and other industry movers and shakers to discuss important topics around the theme “Drive Change. Shape the Future.”

Joining Macaraeg as panelists in the afternoon session on day 1 were IBM Philippines Chief Technologist Lope Doromal Jr., VMWare Country Manager Emmanuel Portugal, and an executive who represented Karrie Ilagan, Microsoft Philippines Managing Director.

Macaraeg had a unique perspective during the discussion as she was queried on SHORE Solutions’ firsthand experience as one of the early adopters of the SAP SuccessFactors Human Capital Management (HCM) Suite of products. SHORE is a corporate user and, since early this year, also a value added reseller of the HCM Suite, the world’s leading HCM cloud technology software.

Macaraeg spoke on how the use of the cloud technology is leading to a transformation at SHORE. SHORE has been able to create a more productive, efficient and sustainable work environment through the integrated talent management cloud technology that focuses on both clients and employee engagement. This successful synergy has helped SHORE in business execution, and has led to SHORE being recognized as one of the fastest growing BPO companies.

Aside from Macaraeg as a panelist, SHORE was also an exhibitor with its SAP-Success Factors themed booth. The powerful presentations, instructive panel discussions, cutting-edge exhibits, and opportunities for the productive exchange of ideas among top-level attendees are among the many draws of the yearly IT-BPM Summit.
