SHORE Solutions among key delegates at CeBIT Australia in May
SHORE Solutions, one of the fastest growing, client-focused business process outsourcing (BPO) companies in the Philippines today, was one of the dozen BPO providers that joined a trade mission to CeBIT Australia from May 5 to 8, 2015 at the Sydney Olympic Park. Bastiaan Mawhin, Sales and Marketing Vice President, was SHORE’s delegate to this sixth annual holding of the four-day event that is recognized as Australia’s leading global business conference and exhibition for the information and communications technology (ICT) industry.
SHORE contributed fully to the Philippines’ efforts with its active participation at the IBPAP booth, which is estimated to have drawn over 20,000 visitors from 30 countries.
SHORE also actively participated in all the associated events, including the Networking Night on May 6 and the IT-BPO Forum on May 8, both sponsored by the Australia Philippines Business Council (APBC) and organized by the Philippine Consulate in Sydney. Both events gave delegates and business leaders the opportunity to discuss possible collaborations and partnerships. The Philippines’ Ambassador to Australia, H.E. Belen F. Anota provided the welcome remarks at the IT-BPO Forum, held at the Ernst & Young office in Sydney.
The trade mission comes at an opportune time as the Philippines is on track to reach the outsourcing industry’s targets of US$25 billion in revenues and 1.3 million in direct employees by the end of 2016.
