Cyber campus for BPOs to rise in Pasay

DoubleDragon Properties Corp., set up by the Jollibee group’s founders, formed a partnership with the Carto Meridian Development Corp. (CMDC) to develop The Meridian Park along EDSA extension corner Macapagal Avenue, Pasay City, into an office and commercial building complex.

The partners are planning to make The Meridian Park into a complex covering 334,000 square meters (sqm) of floor area for business process outsourcing (BPO) firms, offices, commercial spaces and serviced apartments.

The DoubleDragon Cyber Campus, primarily for BPO offices with a projected 90,200sqm floor area, will be constructed in the first phase, beginning in Q4 2014. It is expected that 12,000 jobs will be generated in this first phase. All phases of The Meridian Park will be completed by 2020.
