SHORE Solutions joins IBPAP trade mission to CeBIT Australia this May

SHORE Solutions is one of only a handful of leading business process outsourcing (BPO) providers from the Philippines participating with the local industry’s enabling organization, Information Technology and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP), in CeBIT Australia from May 5 to 8, 2015 at the Sydney Olympic Park.

CeBIT has long been recognized as the global business technology event. This staging is expected to draw 20,000 visitors, including 6,000 business leaders, from over 30 countries. Visitors have a packed schedule with two full days (May 5 and 6) of keynote addresses on a range of topics from industrial automation technology to digital-social engagement, and many more delivered by visionaries from industry, technology and government. CeBIT Australia also features an exhibition with 450 plus innovative booths, workshops, a networking forum and business matching opportunities up to May 8.

The IBPAP delegation will banner the Philippines as the global center of excellence in outsourcing. The Philippines is already the call center capital of the world, and may soon be number one as well in providing BPO, knowledge process outsourcing (KPO) and information technology outsourcing (ITO) services. In line with the technology theme of CeBIT Australia, the Philippines will highlight the country’s superior capabilities in ITO.

Despite developing countries, including Australia, having relatively mature outsourcing markets, the demand for ITO worldwide remains strong and is growing because of the difficulty in obtaining skilled resources to execute a multitude of IT functions or virtually the whole coverage from software applications development to technology infrastructure.

SHORE will actively support the Philippine delegation as it presents an overview, outlooks and trends of the BPO industry that is one of the local economy’s engines of growth. This is noteworthy because the Philippines is currently considered one of the best-performing global economies.
